Alana De La Garza was born in the year 1976 by her Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother. She is a well-known actress on television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Then she began moving to Texas in search of an athletic therapy profession at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for long and soon moved into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of acting roles, such as local independent films and commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from finding out that she loved acting. Her move was in New York. Her first role was on the soap opera All My Children. In the beginning of the decade, she appeared in small part for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role in her debut series role in The Mountain, which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Mitch Pileggi. The most memorable part of her career was on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. In the following seasons, she was a part of her role in the Law & Order: LA short-lived sequel. This character was a hit and brought De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama television show. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments after. She played Marisol Deko in the role of husband of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. She was her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC after only two episodes.
