Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role is her role as Skyler White on the AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student in Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio and she continued her interest in performing on stage. She attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna spent a few seasons working in Chicago the theatre before moving to TV and film roles. Anna was chosen to play Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. In the early 90s Anna was a frequent actor in both film and TV like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. Skyler is the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully was the Deadwood film and a few other films included her. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. She was also a part of the four-part podcast audio drama The Numbered Days series, which released in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final ending mirrors the last seasons that were the life of Walter White.
