Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza (born June 26, 1984) is a performer, comedian who is famous for her ability to express her wit in a humorous style. She plays April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. In the Jeannie Tate Show her character made her first web-series debut following her work in sketches and improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. After her debut, Tate went on and made appearances on Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's vs. World. It is fitting to celebrate her birth today. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington in Delaware) is the child of Bernadette Plaza, who is an lawyer by trade and David Plaza a financial consultant. Her father is Puerto Rican while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza earned a degree at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and was a Catholic girls' high school in 2006, after graduating in 2002. She served as president of the student body at her high school and was a part of Wilmington Drama League productions during her time as a senior. Plaza is in the second year of her university career when she was diagnosed, had an aphasia expressive and paralysis. Her recovery is complete. Since 2004, Plaza has been doing improv and sketch comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. Additionally, in NYC, she has appeared in stand-up shows at The Improv and The Laugh Factory. Plaza starred as Robin Gibney on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street. She also played Robin Gibney on The Jeannie Tate Show. Troopers on CollegeHumor, Plaza played the Princess in a satirical sci-fi persona. Plaza was the first saxophonist to debut in Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. She first came to prominence in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings from 2012. In the year 2016 Plaza was featured on HarmonQuest as Hawaiian Coffee a gnome. She was Aaron Burr and Cat Adams as well in Drunk History. the television series Criminal Minds. She made a triumphant comeback to her role on Season 12. In the year following, it was revealed later that Plaza will be a part of an unscripted comedy named An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn.
